HISTORY
GS Development was set up in 1992 as the group company for some ten companies. From the very start, there was access to considerable external expertise in the form of researchers, innovators and professional business developers. Each subsidiary was to build on a unique idea that was expected to result in one or more products that would satisfy strong market demand.
GS Development has been led by two generations of the Sandberg family. The founder, Gunnar Sandberg, a qualified electrician and electrical engineer, was an energetic entrepreneur with an irrepressible ability to see product ideas and turn them into practical applications.
Today, Per Sandberg, CEO and group president, leads a company that is successfully continuing to cross-fertilise new knowledge, business development and commercial manufacture.
